COLORADO CIDER CO.
After years of using fresh apple juice produced in other states, Colorado Cider Co. decided to plant their very own orchard in 2013 with more than eleven cider and heirloom apple varieties. This was a test to determine which traditional apples will grow at high altitude in Hotchkiss, Colorado as well as an effort to move away from outsourcing their apple juice. Block One was created using only those apples produced right at the Colorado Cider Co. orchard. The unique blend of apples grown at high altitude results in a delectable and delicious one-of-a-kind cider.
About the Cider Makers
The craft cider industry in Colorado began booming just a few years ago. Brad Page and his wife, Kathe, joined the industry at just the right time when they founded Colorado Cider Company in 2011 as one of the first cideries in Colorado. Brad became interested in cider after being a microbrewer. With their love for cider, the Pages soon began searching for land in Colorado to plant an orchard. They eventually found the perfect location in Hotchkiss where they planted the orchard that produces all of their amazing varieties of cider.

About the Cider Makers
Dunkertons history reaches back to 1980 when Ivor and Susie Dunkerton made the decision to escape London and buy a smallholding in Herefordshire, England. Their vision was to turn the land into a viable business opportunity and they soon realized that cider production was the solution. During their first years, Susie and Ivor did everything from shoveling apples to loading their original 1930’s hydraulic press. In 2014, Susie and Ivor decided to step aside and their son, Julian, took on ownership to continue crafting the incredible Dunkertons ciders we drink today.
